Sorry for the late post here for day 9 but here we go. People should now be feeling like their sugar cravings are going away and the transition to good food is getting easier. If you are not, fear not, that day will come.
Today's lesson: For those of you who have been using those "all natural" vega shakes... I took a look at the ingredients on the container at the gym today... anyone else notice what the third ingredient is?
That would be BROWN RICE PROTEIN. Sounds like a grain byproduct to me...
Please take the time to read the labels on what you're eating if what you're eating still has labels - because for the next 21 days your food really should be fresh. Especially with summer here, grills fired up and the abundance of fresh veggies out there. There is a veritable cornucopia of food at your fingertips.
I dare everyone to try a new fruit, veggie or root. One you've never tried before. And then I want the story of how it went. How it tasted. How many people you had to ask to figure out how the hell to cook it.
eggs with spinach and tomatoes apple and almond butter turkey, salad with asparagus trail mix roast beef w/t salted trail mix (mom, brought it for me and I was starving at work) salmon sashimi chicken apple
Tonight was tough, managed to survive a wedding shower where the wine/appies/dessert were everywhere....I stuck to the veggie platter, but it wasn't easy.
