Feeling a little better today, looking forward to breakfast to see if it goes down easy because I'm hungry!
Yesterday I had craving for a glass of milk...strange...maybe the heartburn. I love to hear how everyone is doing, don't forget to post recipes and share the worthy ones. Solo, your soup last night sounds delicious.

So I was hoping to do tuesdays wod today as I don't have kickboxing, but I got booked at the restaurant at the last minute so not sure if I'll make it back to the shore in time :(.
Breakfast was 2 hard boiled eggs, some strawberries and black coffee.
If I don't make it today I'll see you guys tomorrow evening. Have a good thursday everyone!

Breakfast:
1 grapefruit. 2 eggs over easy w bacon and avocado. Some black coffee.
So far so good on the stomach front. Hope I have turn the corner.
Stomach is feeling better - Head is pretty cloudy. maybe its the weather? maybe i should be on TV as a weatherman and i'll tell people what the weather is gonna be by how big my headache is. or maybe i'll just shut the hell up?

Good morning! I can't believe what I'm seeing as I'm looking out the window! :S Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the shore tonight for yesterday's WOD!

L: big salad with veggies & roast chicken, lemon juice as dressing
My goal for next week is to cut down a little on fruit. I have been compensating for lack of sweets & treats by eating a lot of fruit!! Will be hard for me...

Pre WOD: a few almonds, blackberries, turkey slice
B: 2 poached eggs, basil garlic turkey sausage, berries, 1/2 grapefruit, coffee
Baking muffins this morning...still lounging at home not feeling 100% trying to make myself useful.
Gluten Free Carrot Banana
(recipe from Elena's pantry-great site of gluten free cooking, mostly paleo friendly)
2 cups blanched almond flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup dates, pitted
3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
1 ½ cups carrots, shredded
¾ cup walnuts, finely chopped
• In a small bowl, combine almond flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon
• In a food processor, combine dates, bananas, eggs, vinegar and oil
• Transfer mixture to a large bowl
• Blend dry mixture into wet until thoroughly combined
• Fold in carrots and walnuts
• Spoon mixture into paper lined muffin tins
• Bake at 350° for 25 minutes
Makes 18 muffins
I didn't have carrots so I used apples and I realized I hadn't baked in so long we had no baking soda either.
By the looks of it they turned out okay. Taste test to follow. :)
Okay-so the cooking time was way off. It took more like 40min in my oven...but it may be my oven.
But they are delicious. Plenty sweet from the dates and apples. :)
Went to the gym with Jenny this morning, was actually feeling awake and rested. Started the Wendler 3/2/1, did shoulder press and bench, two of my weakest lifts, we'll see how it goes!

Good to hear that a lot of people are felling better. How bout weight loss?? I personally havent lost a single pound i dont think. I did last time we did a challenge, but havent changed since then. Havent gained any either so maybe thats a good thing to find a weight and stick with it? I think the last 6 -10 months have been the most consistent weight ive been at in a long time.
Are you fishing for a compliment Knight? ....
just teasing, but I don't think you have any weight to loose, which is probably why your body is happy where it's at! :)
Geoff has been posting my food which explains why I haven't posted lately. I guess he's behind schedule so I'll be posting tonight!

B (Geoff): same minus bacon (I ate his), black coffee
Lunch: Geoff's leftover pork wrapped in bacon, one slice of leftover meatloaf
Pre-dinner snack: almonds, cantaloupe, black olives, hazelnuts
Dinner: halibut with some kind of strawberry lime and mint sauce, sauteed peppers (orange and red), onions, mushrooms, black olives, spinach. Not sure about the veggie and sauce combination for the fish but hey, any sauce is better than no sauce!
I don't have a lot of time to eat during the day which is why I only had the meat part of my lunch. Veggies for snacks and salad are still in my lunch bag.
Annie, I hope you save me a muffin for this weekend! I'll be dreaming about it tonight. :-)

salad w chicken, proscuitto, peppers, cucumber and lemon and evoo
1 muffin as a treat w peppermint tea to settle my tummy.
A clementine to snack on.
Dinner:
Olivia's birthday dinner w the family. Prawns, lamb sausages, sweet potatoes and asparagus. All of the birthday girl's favorite.
They had cheese cake for dessert. Scott and I grabbed a handful of nuts and exerted our will power.
Noooooooooooooooo! Scott, please don't eat all the muffins...........!

Hey bloggers, not feeling very well tonight. hope im not getting what everyone seems to passing around.geeeeezz. going to bed early to get a good sleep.
i wasn't doing paleo for weight gain or weight loss, just general overall health and performance, but i hope someone would tell me if im getting fat, so i can start purging my eggs and bananas- this is a joke.
what are people taking for supplements? i ran out of fish oils so looking for suggestions....
breakfast: 1 egg+egg white, half banana, coffee with almond milk
snack: apple, turkey slices, left over broccoli salad, half lara bar, and some almond and walnuts
lunch: egg whites, half banana, half cup oatmeal ( i know, i know...)
dinner: wasn't very hungry, just got the regular whole foods bianca salada- spinach, veggies, and chicken
drinking some Teeeeaaaaa!! and getting my meals packed for tomorrow as its going to be a busy day.
can summer come any faster? seriously. i miss the sunshine...
