Pretty giddy this morning as a cafe finally opened downstairs! At this moment, I am enjoying an almond milk latte in my PJs! Didn't even bat an eye at the croissants on the counter! Funny, as Annie was saying, Paleo really has become more of a way of life. Aside from wine, I don't really miss anything and I'm not really craving anything.
B: 1/2 turkey sausage, 2 eggs over easy, Paleo muffin with almond butter, apple with cinnamon, almond milk latte
See you guys at the Den...will be there for 10! (latest diagnosis is Bicep tendinitis to go along with my SLAP tear...life is not good in the shoulder world).
Hey guys, the Behler residence is moving along smoothly in the paleo zone.
The big deal yesterday was burgers and prawns for dinner. We managed to have the burgers in lettuce wraps but they were still really good.
Pre-workout this morning was some fruit and a protein shack and a gallon of black coffee. Ains had some coffee and fruit.
Post-workout: we thought really hard about going to Tommy's but since pan fries would have been too tempting, went with homemade breaky. Eggs, bacon, and fruit salad
Lunch was left over hamburgers in lettuce wraps again.
Dinner is going to be slow cooker curried chicken, yams, and salad.
Ains tried to make some paleo ice-cream in BB's ice cream maker. We'll see in a couple of hours how it turns out.
If that ice cream turns out yummy I need the recipe. I believe we have an icecream maker kicking around!
We are doing well in Whistler...but after a day on the slopes it was very tempting to buy a bottle wine w dinner.
Olivia is a natural skiing and the Tasakas have got the bug! I think we will becoming a ski family again. :)
Today: Eggs over easy, bacon, avocadoe and grapefruit for breakfast w black coffee.
Snack: 1 paleo muffin
Lunch: Burger and yam fries minus the bun.
Snack: pepperoni sticks and half a larabar
Geoff and Annie are making us dinner and from the smell of us it will be delicious. I know we are having pork tenderloins and a whole bunch of veggies.
post-Wod: larabar while shopping at Costco (today seemed to be baking sample day!)
Lunch: wasn't really hungry so I grazed...1/2 turkey sausage, paleo muffin, cantaloupe, some carrots with guac, dried fruit, almonds
Dinner: basil & sun dried tomato chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto and sauteed veggies (i love this chicken recipe! it's so easy and so flavourful!)
