Day 21

Morning!

We bought new curtains for our bedroom yesterday....makes the room SO much darker, what a difference!! I had a great sleep :)

We also bought our own copy of Robb Wolf's "Paleo Solution", so Annie & Geoff you can finally ready Annie T's copy!! We will bring it to the gym tomorrow.

Staying strong in Whistler! Just enjoyed copious amount of bacon for breakfast w 2 egss over easy assorted fruits and pan fried sweet potatoes. Snacked on a paleo muffin while waiting for it.

Staying true to Paleo this weekend, despite Olivia's birthday and the cupcakes temptation. But could have paid better attention to portion control! Feel like I have been eating too much.

Whistler sounds like fun!! Skiing all day always makes me hungry! :)

Wish I could've slept in this morning but was up by 6:30! Argh. But I hopped out of bed & had a yummy breakfast!

2 poached egg whites with guac, 3 strips of bacon, fruit salad, paleo muffin, coffee with almond milk. I am really trying to resist going downstairs for a latte every day...$$ adds up so fast!

first time I'm going home for dinner since Paleo began...should be interesting--will have to pack my own dinner for mom & dad's!

OOOOOOOUUCH! My arms and shoulders are killing me. Fran was mean! I guess that's my punishment for not doing pullups for a month!
I've been good all weekend so far despite going out for a friends birthday party ( I drank water and ate a bunless burger with bacon).

Caught up on some much needed sleep, and this morning will be bacon, eggs, grapefruit, and black coffee. I'll also do some baking today :)

Hope everyone has a restful and lazy Sunday :)

i made a delicious dinner last night! pork tenderloin wrapped in proscuitto, baked over cinnamon apples served with spinach salad! followed by unnecessary amounts of wine and vodka for dessert.:( things just kinda happened...i know i know...

breakfast today was egg whites, half turkey sausage and half banana.

1 hour later lunch followed with big salad from whole foods with chicken and coffee.

haven't been eating alot of fruit the last couple days and eating way more egg whites. like 1-2 cups of just egg whites. ive noticed my craving for sweets is going down, especially after dinner when i always need a little treat.

ains, let me know how your ice cream turned out! not sure how paleo ice cream will be, but keep it for after paleo and make regular ice cream and its nummmy!

had a grazing kind of day...which is dangerous. didn't really have lunch but sometime during the day had 1/2 pork sausage, some almonds, some cantaloupe, baby carrots, apple with cinnamon

D: bailed on my parents since I'm not eating the same thing...made some baked salmon with dill/lemon, spaghetti squash w/tomato sauce & a side of sauteed spinach/mushrooms

Dessert: diced pear with sprinkled cinnamon, cocoa powder & shredded coconut (gotta get rid of this sweet tooth!)

anyone have an inspiring turkey burger recipe?

lunch:
no left overs left behind plate! Some spaghetti squash, some meat sauce, some pork tenderloins and 1/2 an Asian pear,1 fig

Snack:
turkey cold cuts and 1/2 paleo muffins

Post wod:
Ants on a log-inspired by Annie, pleasantly surprised how yummy it was! :)

Dinner:
Pumpkin chicken curry on roasted cauliflower. Delish! Found the recipe on http://tastypaleo.com/ and Scott and I both loved it. Doubled the recipe to have left overs.

Had a few chunks of pineapple and a few Brazil nuts for dessert.

Had a craving for chocolate covered jujubes tonight!!! haha
