Day 25

Almost the end of the week.

Scott woke up under the weather and Olivia went to bed not feeling so great. Definitively washing my hands and all the towels and sheets in the house!

Try to stay healthy and away from all the bugs out there!

Happy Thursday!

Post meals/questions to comment.

Annie :)

I thought Scott seemed a little less energy yesterday than normal.
Hope you are feeling better big guy.

Ate too much protein yesterday for sure, however I have officially dropped 10 pounds which is nice. Not really too concerned with the scale but I know my body and that translates to good weight lost. 10 more to goo and I will be rocking.

Yesterday
B: 3 eggs, 3 sausages, banana
L: salmon sashimi, green salad, miso soup
L2: koren lettuce wraps at Cactus club. No rice
S: lara bar, 1/2 protein drink, nuts
D: chicken, black cod, a little bit of tuna tataki.

I had a bad sleep thanks to the guys partying in the hotel room next to me!!

Breakfast was at the hotel buffet: omelette with ham, tomato, peppers and onion (made with fresh eggs instead of the pre-made concoction), bacon, a bit of fruit, black coffee

Chris - 10 pounds!!! Nice work.

Scott - feel better soon!!

B: decided to mix it up today, had hard boiled eggs instead of poached! Back bacon, grapefruit, blueberries, black coffee

Day 2 of Wendler today, hope everyone who's under the weather feels better!

Morning!

10 pounds is fantastic! Mr. & Mrs. Harrison, congrats on the great Paleo successes! :)

I couldn't get the gym scale to work so I'm still in the dark about if I've lost weight & how much! But I'm feeling great and had a great day at the Den yesterday! Shoulder feels way better!

B: Paleo muffin w/almond butter, 1/2 mild italian sausage, 2 eggs over easy, orange, kiwi, coffee w/coconut milk

S: berry/banana smoothie

Lunch will be leftover sauteed veggies (kale, mushrooms, roasted peppers) and tuna melt, apple w/ cinnamon

Dins last night consisted of fried chicken strips and yam fries. Not the healthiest, but certainly satisfying.

B1: eggwhite omlette/pancake, 1/2 bannana
B2: chicken boobie

Searching for a good dinner recipe for tonight. I think i may just Overdose on chicken if i have any more.

Steak maybe? Fish? Anyone have a cool new recipe for me?

Went for food and drinks with friends I hadn't seen in a while last night at the Irish Heather. Charcuterie Plate (ate the bread crackers too) and crispy pork belly with apples and mashed potatoes and a couple of pints. Not too many veggies there and some definite forbiddens. Feeling a little hungover today but my tolerance is getting less as I get older.

Ran out of eggs this morning so only 1 each instead of the usual 2. Bacon, fruit salad (pear, banana, strawberries and kiwi).

I was hungry again at 9.

Annie got the leftover cottage pie so I made a run to the grocery store for some sliced roast beef, lara bar, nut and dried fruit mix, carrots, apples, blueberries and a happy planet smoothy. That's what happens when I shop hungry.

Guess I'd better eat some veggies for dinner.

it's confirmed, i now have the flu as well. i guess that explains why i felt so shitty yesterday and why solo beat me :)

i also officially had my first "cheat" this morning, which was a bagel from tim hortons. Although, as far as cheats go, i would have rather slammed back a pint of B&Js. The good news is that i took the day off of work and have just been resting, and i feel way better! I was scared I was going to be laid out for awhile, but i feel quite good now, and i'm really hungry!

all is well in paleo-land on mr bell's front. He has so far put back 6 litres of coffee, and according to him, some fish that sucked.

that is all

Ains! Rest up and get better!

Lunch was an arugula salad with grilled chicken, beets, pecans, pears and citrus dressing...delicious!! (Earl's again)

Snack will be a banana on the plane.

Knight - do you like prawns? Saute some in coconut oil and garlic, then make a big salad with lots of homemade guacamole, peppers etc.....yummy.

sigh...the new pizza place downstairs is giving away FREE large pizzas to residents in the building. i have never been this close to caving because all i can smell is pizza in the elevator!!

S: 1/2 larabar, almonds

D: undecided...i hope the next time i post, it won't say "pizza"!

Dinner for Matt and I was salmon, broccoli and mashed yams...

And then I had a frozen strawberry smoothie for dessert ;)

Can't believe it's been 25 days!!

I have been doing some reading on MDA & Robb Wolf forums about weight loss on Paleo...interesting stuff! Apparently I need to eat less fruit, more fat...already knew that, but really need to action it!!

Well Scott is flat out today! I had a long day of training and work and he barely was able to get out of bed and care for Olivia!

Breakfast:
egg whites, sundried tomatoes, avocado and fruit salad

Snack:
hard boiled egg,chicken,avocado and clementine

Lunch:
Left over roast chicken and veggies
w a couple of dried figs and almonds

An americano

Snack:
1 asian pear,turkey slices,almond butter

Dinner:
steaks, beets and squash from Earls w bubbly water

It was excrutiating to be at Earls w all the managers from the region, smelling the glasses of red wines and looking at all the food I couldn't touch! Much easier to eat clean at home. And Earls does not have yam fries! What's up w that?!

OMG Jenny, this salad looks delicious I have to try it too....like I am not eating bacon enough these days. lol

Can you send me the link about the eating more fat to loose more weight, just curious to see his logic.
