Day 26

TGIF!! We are approaching our last weekend of the challenge.....stay strong people!!!

And we get to do Cindy today.....yippee ;)

Happy Friday!!

Looking forward to Cindy today--I'm sore from the pullups on Wednesday so it should be interesting!!

B: 2 poached egg whites w/guac, 1/2 pork sausage, paleo muffin w/almond butter, 1/2 grapefruit, coffee w/splash of coconut milk.

S: will be berry/banana smoothie, baby carrots

L: will be roasted chicken breast, spaghetti squash w/tomato sauce, roasted peppers, apple w/cinnamon

See you guys tonight, hopefully!

Well I am kinda sad to miss Cindy today, I do love that wod, but I am not sure my shoulder has recovered from the pushups Monday and spending the night cleaning up puke bucket has me feeling ragged!

Breaky will be a grapefruit w black coffee and 2 eggs, sundried tomatoe and turkey.

Probably followed by lots more of black coffee so I can get on w my day.

Dinner last night was lemon sage lamb sausages with gai lan steamed with garlic and lemon juice, carrots and cucumbers.

The wagon completely exploded this morning. Ran out of meat and eggs so it was oatmeal or bust. A fruit smoothie and tea to top it off.

Not feeling the carb binge side effects described by marksdailyapple, so far. No cold sweats, no elevated heart rate. I'll see if I have a major crash this afternoon.

Leftovers for lunch.

Get well everyone! I only had 170 out of the usual 190 students in my class today (I can count them by their clicker scores). Either they're sick or I'm boring.

Everyone around me at work is eating candy...I want some. But I won't give up this close to the end!!!

Afternoon snack was turkey slice, apple & almond butter

Matt made the chicken, bacon, avocado, apple salad from MDA for dinner tonight...delicious!

snack:
a couple of figs and almonds

late lunch:
butternut squash soup and a large tuna salad

dinner:
pan fried steaks and mushrooms w sweet potato fries!

It was delicious, it is late, I was exhausted and tired, but so worth the cooking and the wait. Scott is sick in bed still and Olivia seemed to be getting a little better, but it may be another long night for nurse Annie...wish me luck!

Hope to get some sleep and make a return to the den in the morning!

Aiming for 5 days at the Den this week...feeling really great!

nibbled on some dried fruit while my students were watching a movie...I was so bored!

snack: paleo muffin, 1/2 larabar

Dinner: left over salmon, 1/2 sausage, sauteed spinach

Dessert: 1/2 grapefruit, 2 dates, almonds

See you guys in the morning! It took me almost an hour to get over to NV today...and I got lightly rear-ended! What a nightmare!! Hope traffic in the morning is better!

Snack: Larabar

L: Big Salad with Chicken and lots of Veg. Balsamic Vinagrette

D: Same as Matt and Jenny. Damn Good Salad. I almost ate the whole thing and I made enough for 6 peeps.

Dessert: I have my sister working on some paleo cake type thing. Let you know how it turns out.

Breakfast this morning was egg whites and turkey bacon, also some black coffee.

By 12:30 I was so hungry my stomach was rumbling and my co-worker heard it even with all the noise in the kitchen, too busy for me to take a break though :(
I was there late and missed Cindy which I was actually a little bummed about. Had some dried mango after work.

Dinner was turkey wraps and grapefruit for dessert.
