Day 4-so far so good?

Morning! Another day on the way, let's see what day 4 has on the menu.

Breakfast: fruit salad and 1 sausage, 1 egg before Crossfit.

B: 1 egg/1 egg white omelet with spinach, basil & red onion (got a mini food processor! love it!), fruit salad (1/2 banana, blueberries, cherries, pomegranate, pineapple, cantaloupe) + black coffee

snack: almonds, some grapes

As promised, i had baked chicken and broccoli for dins. nuts, and mango for a snack.

AND THEN... i watched people drink beer while they watched hockey. i wanted to see the game, i really did, but it was like a car accident - i couldnt look away. The frothy bottles - it was like a child laughing - it warmed my heart.

Had some pretty good sugar cravings yesterday. Got through them by screaming at the TV and running around my house like an idiot. Feel good today incidently.

B: 2 eggs, 1 bannana, mango pieces, black coffee

For some reason my post didn't publish yesterday(maybe cuz I'm a technophobe!). Anyways, I had a pounding headache yesterday morning, I wasn't sure if it was from sugar withdrawals or the two wods at the beginning of the week! Feeling better today.

Day four and breakfast is becoming "Groundhog Day".
Two egg breakfasts again. Went scrambled for number one and sundried tomato,onion,mush, guac and proscuitto omlette for number two.

Think I'll get some spinach as Solo's omlette sounds good.

But in the end if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... I do miss my granola. Hope it passes.

L: roasted butternut squash, carrots, green beans & chicken breast

S: Paleo cereal (found it online-blueberries, walnuts, almonds, 1/2 banana, almond milk, dash of cinnamon)

off to Xfit...Fran?! Seriously?! More thrusters???

L: salad with tons of veggies, walnuts, olives, ham
S: apple and almond butter
D: fresh crab appetizer, grilled pork loin with mushrooms, salad with all the fixins(I eat good at work)

Gonna have frozen grapes for dessert, yum!

Felt good today, looking forward to throwing down tomorrow!

Left overs for lunch (Stew).

Dinner: Roast chicken w/ gai lan and broccoli. Sweet potato fries (may become my new favorite).

Fruit salad dessert.

Lots of biltong/pepperoni/fruit snacking during the day.

Seriously craving some chocolate right now...but will not give in...

I know how you feel...just came home from working out and I have the munchies! somehow the clementine I just ate did not satisfy me. :)

morning snack:
Asian pear w 2 turkey pepperoni sticks

lunch:
salad w cucumbers, red peppers, apples and a can of tuna w lemon and olive oil and a bunch of wallnuts

after-noon snack:
egg custard leftover w blackberries

dinner:
left over stew

sipping on peppermint herbal tea watching Greys rigth now... nighty night.

Scrambled eggs with fried onions and mushrooms, pear, banana and apple on the side.

Late lunch of left over beef stew on mashed cauliflower. The stew was kind of flavourless without any soup stock. Will have to make some.

Snack of baby carrots, celery and almonds

Dinner of peppered smoked salmon with avocado and now I'm eating some grapes.

Still sore from Wednesday's workout.

Snack: radishes, celery sticks, snap peas, red peppers

L: nothing, I forgot to eat! :-(

Dinner: the lunch I should have had (leftover stew) + 1 banana

No headaches, no cravings, no hunger.


So Michelle, how was Fran? :-D

No creativity tonight...got home late from the Den & the GHD sit ups make me so dizzy I almost didn't eat. But I'm really starting to feel hungry all the time now!!

I'm surprised at how easy this is but will try to cut down on the fruit a little next week, maybe.

Annie, no Fran... I actually fell for it! Can't believe Geoff had me all freaked out for nothing!! Lol.

Off to bed! Looking forward to my massage tomorrow afternoon!!
