Booyeah! Good to hear. Feeling great here as well.
Breakfast: 1 hardboiled egg, 1 avocado and 3 slices of ham
Snack: Almonds
Lunch: Leftover steak and carrots
Snack: Banana
Dinner: Got a potluck tomorrow at work so I made the butter chicken again. This time I subbed the butter for coconut oil and I couldn't tell any difference. This recipe is dangerously good....accept it's paleo so I guess it's not really dangerous. Just delicious. Not enough vegetables today. I'll try to fix that tomorrow.
Dinner- My best friend's birthday, we ordered chinese food. I kept it to just the veggies and beef type dishes. We also had gluten free birthday cake because she's celiac. Not paleo I know.
Tomorrow I'm going to try to break for lunch because I'm always good about having a big salad with lean meat at work (lots of yummy stuff at my disposal).
Breaky: Egg, turkey bacon, tomatoe slice and some of our acorn squash breakfast recipe Lunch: Made a puree soup with left over roasted parsnips and turnips and pumpkin and coconut milk with some left over roast chicken and salad on the side. Snack: Paleo pumpkin muffin Dinner: Left over sausages with red cabbage and some concord grapes for dessert. A spoonful of coconut butter into the evening for a treat craving...Scott thinks I am weird!
hey SOOOOO sorry i've been MIA!! was away all weekend driving to and from jasper, and at a wedding. and last night i was beat and was asleep way too early!
i will tell you however i was really good on my road trip and at the wedding. i only had a 2 sip glass of wine....and that was it. the rest i ate paleo even driving and thats the hardest part for me cause i like to snack.
today though:
Breakfast: didn't have any again preparation is not a good thing with me:(
Snack: jerky( biltong)
lunch: 1/2 avocado, fillet steak tomato all in 2 lettuce wraps and a couple grapes for dessert:)
Snack: apple
Dinner: left over filet steak, with 2 hard boiled eggs and a nectarine!
i really need to cut down on the fruits:(
i did however make paleo shepherds pie, and haven't eaten any of it yet. i'll let you all know tomorrow. going to take some for lunch? or maybe leave it for dinner:) thats the most preparation ive done...bad i know!!! wish i could say i'm seeing results but i'm not:( i guess it can't be worse than eating badly?
**also thanks so much Jenny for keeping the board up to date!! i really appreciate it!**
Pie Day 9 1: 2 eggs, turkey, peppers, tomatoes 2: turkey slices, shredded broccoli and apple salad 3: apple and nuts on the golf course 4: Banadara salad with non of the bad stuff. Full breast of chicken.
Good results so far on the scale but the water weight loss is now gone and the real pounds are what are going to come off. Everyone needs to understand that. Once you get a week or two in the speed of weight loss on the scale can slow down but you can still have great gains if you work hard. Two weeks from now I want to be below 200. In fact I will be no matter what.
